Our Project
The WGHS Resource Centre: Phase Two

The Wesley Girls High School 2003 Year group is part of a Consortium of Old Girls tasked with completing the furnishing, fittings, and equipment requirements for our 3-storey Resource Centre. The WGHS Resource Centre is a multipurpose centre designed to support holistic staff and student development and preserve the institution's legacy of impactful girl child education. The 3-storey building will house office spaces for teaching and non-teaching staff, training facilities for students and staff, computer labs for virtual learning, a career counselling and guidance centre and multifunctional conference and meeting rooms. 

 

Phase One of the project, which includes the structural core of the building, was spearheaded by the 2000, 2001 and 2002 year groups and their supporting year groups (1970,1971,1972,1980,1981,1982,1990,1991,1992). Phase Two of the project focuses on completing the interior of the building (i.e.., furniture, fixture and equipment (FF+E)).

 

As part of the Consortium, we hope to raise our quota of funds to cover the procurement and installation of the following items to make the Resource Center fit for function.

 

1. Procurement and installation of electrical fittings and fixtures

2. Procurement and installation of air conditioners

3. Procurement and installation of office furniture

4. Procurement and installation of office storage facilities

5. Procurement and installation of office equipment (scanners, photocopiers, printers, telephones etc)

6. Procurement and installation of desktop computers

7. Interior design and decor for all spaces

8. Landscaping of external compound
